Dr Morgan O’Gara is a highly experienced dentist who is dedicated to providing his patients with high quality dentistry in a friendly and relaxed environment. Morgan qualified from University College Cork in 2007 with an honours degree. After graduating, Morgan moved to London where he spent five years working in both NHS and private dental practice. At the same time he completed, with merit, a three year postgraduate Masters in Aesthetic Dentistry in the world renowned King’s College London. Morgan was one of the first dentists internationally to complete this programme, under the tutelage of some of the most renowned cosmetic dentists in the world.
In 2012, Morgan moved to Perth, Australia where he spent four years working in a fully private dental practice with a focus on cosmetic dentistry.
In March 2016, Morgan along with his wife, Daphne, and their four young children, returned home to Ireland. Morgan took over Blackrock Dental in 2017 from Dr Tom Feeney and relocated the practice to its new state of the art, multi-disciplinary clinic in May 2023.
Morgan is an Elite provider of Invisalign Go, as well as being an Invisalign speaker lecturing internationally on the topic. Morgan completed a year-long dental implant training programme in 2019, along with an intensive implant training programme in Berlin in 2022.
In his spare time Morgan is a big rugby fan having played to the highest amateur level. In recent years he has become a regular competitor in triathlon and road running.
Dr Aoife Dunne graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Dental Science in 2016. She has worked in private practice in both Dublin and Kilkenny since graduation, and joined the Blackrock Dental team in 2022. She enjoys all aspects of general, emergency and family dentistry. Aoife is currently pursuing a part time masters in Advanced Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry with the Academy of Dental Excellence. She is a registered member of the IDA. In her spare time Aoife enjoys travelling, pilates and cooking.
Dr Inge Dorman graduated from Trinity College Dublin with honours in 2006.
After completing her undergraduate dental degree, Dr. Dorman worked as a general dentist in both the HSE and private practice, gaining valuable experience and honing her skills in patient care, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Her passion for helping children led her to completing a Masters in Paediatric Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Clinic at University College London in 2016. During her Masters, Dr. Dorman received advanced training in treating children with complex dental issues and developed a special interest in managing dental anxiety in young patients.
Dr. Dorman’s commitment to providing the highest standard of care to her patients is reflected in her approach to dentistry. She believes in a patient-centered approach and takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and concerns. Dr. Dorman is committed to providing a comfortable and stress-free dental experience, particularly for children and anxious patients.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Dorman is an active member of the dental community, attending conferences and participating in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in dentistry. Inge is a member of the Irish Dental Association, Irish Dental council and the Irish Society for Dentistry for Children. Inge enjoys attending CPD meetings and keeping up to date on all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Anna graduated with a degree in Dental Surgery from Glasgow Dental Hospital and School in 2019. She began her dental career by completing her Vocational Training with the NHS in Glasgow, followed by experience in private practice.. Dr Anna moved back to Dublin in 2021 and sat her MFD exams gaining membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Irish Dental Council.
Anna is a highly compassionate dentist dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients. With a blend of clinical expertise and a warm, friendly approach, Dr. Anna is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients can feel at ease while receiving the best in modern dentistry.
Dr. Anna’s expertise extends beyond general dentistry, with a strong passion for Aesthetic Medicine. She has completed a Level 7 certification in Aesthetic Medicine, a Mentorship Programme with renowned expert Dr. Lee Walker. This allows her to offer her patients advanced cosmetic treatments along with specific treatments for dental patients suffering from bruxism.
Beyond her work, Anna enjoys embracing an active lifestyle with hikes, sea swims, and pampering her beloved Bichon Frisé, Coco.
Following his graduation from Trinity College, Paul worked in the UK before returning home to Ireland and working in private practice in Dublin. He then completed his membership examinations with RCSI before completing a 3-year postgraduate Master’s degree in Endodontology in the UK. All endodontic assessments and treatments are completed using our state-of-the-art microscope. Paul also works in a referral practice outside of Dublin.
Our endodontic/endodontic referral process has been to initially arrange a 30-minute endodontic consultation with the patient. At this appointment, a full treatment plan will be formulated and the patient will be informed of their treatment needs. If endodontic treatment is not suitable for a given case or patient, they will be informed of their alternative options and referred back to their referring dentist. Root canal treatment removes bacteria from the infected root canal, prevents reinfection of the tooth and saves the natural tooth. This treatment can be conducted in one appointment or over the course of two appointments depending on the patient’s preference.

Dr. Fahy gained entry to the Specialist Register in Oral Surgery following completion of specialist training at Cork University Dental School and Hospital in 2024. He successfully defended his thesis on the application of visible light spectroscopy to diagnosis of oral cancer and received a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Surgery) from UCC.
He has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland Faculty of Dentistry since 2018 and was admitted to Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh after completing Membership in Oral Surgery exams (MOralSurg). He received his qualification as a dentist (BDentSc) from Trinity College Dublin in 2012.
Dr. Fahy has published numerous articles, both nationally and internationally. He was awarded the RCSI/IADR Clinical Abstract Prize by the International Association of Dental Research in 2021. He is an invited reviewer for the Journal of the Irish Dental Association. He provides a full range of oral surgery procedures, including removal of wisdom teeth, the exposure of impacted teeth, provision of dental implants and treatment of cysts of the jaw.
Claire joined our team in 2020 and is a native of Cork. She is a passionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist who brings a wealth of experience to Blackrock Dental. She earned her diploma in Dental Nursing in 2012 from University College Cork After 4 years of working in private practice, She decided to go back to college and further her education and graduated with honours in Dental Hygiene.
As a dental hygienist, Claire takes pride in putting her patients at ease and making a difference in their oral health. She performs all aspects of comprehensive hygiene, and believes in giving each patient the individual tools and technique they require to achieve and maintain periodontal health and stability to the best of their ability.
She is a registered member of the Dental Council of Ireland and an active member with the Irish Dental Hygienist Association where she attends conferences to keep up her CPD.
In her spare time, Claire loves to head out for walks with her much adored miniature dachshund Frankie.
Gráinne qualified as a dental hygienist from University College Cork in 2010. She spent a number of years in the UK working in numerous practices with specialist dentists. In 2011, she travelled with Chernobyl Aid Ireland to Belarus providing dental care in an orphanage. She has a particular interest in orthodontics and has also worked closely with periodontists. Her main focus is to provide her patients with the skills to allow them to maintain a healthy mouth. Gráinne regularly attends further education courses to maintain her dental skills.

Daphne graduated from University College Cork in 2006 with a first-class honour in Commerce. Daphne then moved to London where she worked for an experiential marketing company as an account manager. Some of her accounts included: Jack Daniel’s, Indesit, Vodafone and Moet. After several years in marketing, Daphne decided to go back to college and study for her post graduate diploma in education, where she again gained the highest accreditation. She became a secondary school teacher in Business Education, teaching subjects such as: Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, and IT.
Daphne moved to Perth, Australia with Morgan to start their family. Initially when Daphne arrived, she worked in the Private Patient Billing department of the children’s hospital, PMH. Daphne took time out to start their family and then went back to teaching in Santa Maria College. In 2016 Daphne, Morgan and their children moved home to Dublin. Daphne has joined the practice, working alongside Morgan, as Practice Manager. Daphne brings her vast experience of marketing and teaching to this role in the practice, while still running a busy home with their four children.
